Senior Philanthropic Advisor, Family Office Philanthropy (Finance)
Marin Community Foundation (MCF) is seeking an experienced professional to serve as a Senior Philanthropic Advisor to a portfolio of individuals and families who each have philanthropic assets of $5 million or more. The Senior Philanthropic Advisor, Family Office Philanthropy manages the long-term relationships with each client and their local, national and/or international philanthropy. This opportunity is for immediate hire and based full-time at MCF's headquarters in Novato, California.

Position Summary:
Reporting directly to Director of Family Office Philanthropy, the Senior Philanthropic Advisor, Family Office Philanthropy works to understand the philanthropic needs and vision of each assigned client and—through the provision of ongoing philanthropic advice, strategy, structure, and support—to enhance their experience with philanthropy and increase its impact.

The Senior Philanthropic Advisor, Family Office Philanthropy will be evaluated by the Director of Family Office Philanthropy on her/his ability to perform the essential functions of the position; to demonstrate the skills described below; to meet annual individual and department goals; and to complete job duties in a professional, cooperative and timely manner. The incumbent will also be evaluated on her/his communication skills and professional interactions with staff, trustees, directors and community members, as well as the ability to listen carefully, think critically and understand complex issues.
