IBO Leader (Finance)



Job Title: IBO Leader

Overview:

The IBO Leader plays a critical role in supporting Pod members, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering collaboration across internal departments and external networks. This position is responsible for analytics, process improvement, training, and business growth within the IBO (Independent Business Owner) framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pod Support & Escalation:
    • Serve as a liaison for Pod members, providing guidance and escalation support for internal and external issues.
    • Mediate conflicts within the agent network and between agents and carriers.
  • Strategic Partnerships & Collaboration:
    • Identify opportunities for collaboration between the IBO Influence Office and Front/Back Office teams.
    • Partner with Pod Leaders to standardize processes across pods.
  • Data Analytics & Reporting:
    • Work with large datasets across multiple systems to deliver actionable insights.
    • Develop and maintain performance metrics to evaluate agent and customer health.
    • Generate reports (e.g., Salesforce, Power BI) as needed.
  • Process Improvement & Technology:
    • Maintain strategic understanding of internal/external technologies and recommend enhancements.
    • Lead prioritization of technical and non-technical root cause fixes.
    • Serve as the main point of contact for IT prioritization and project initiation.
  • Training & Compliance:
    • Lead entry training and follow-up for agents.
    • Provide training on company systems (e.g., ComCheck) and enforce company policies.
  • Business Management & Growth:
    • Assist agents in managing and growing their business, including:
      • Office production reports
      • Pod profitability
      • Customer management
      • Team structure and commission setup
      • Risk mitigation (aging, claims, employee management)
    • Explore new ways to grow the customer and agent network.
    • Attend and monitor industry events.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong problem-solving mindset with ability to make quick decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in high-volume environments.
  • Proactive and self-directed with strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Collaborative and adaptable in cross-functional settings.

Preferred Experience & Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (higher education preferred).
  • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel and Power BI skills preferred.
