HII-Mission Driven Innovative Solutions Inc.(HII-MDIS) provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.
HII-MDIS is currently seeking Expert Systems Integrators to work out of the customer location in Herndon, VA.
The Systems Integrators (SI) shall provide a total system integration perspective including support to customer personnel in establishing cross-community relationships and supporting governance practices for complex programs. The SI will conduct information technology (IT) oversight to include systems engineering, integration, technical performance analysis, governance and IT policy.
In addition, the responsibilities also entail the following:
The SI must be knowledgeable in intelligence collection systems, identifying and gathering requirements, and supporting operational planning.
The SI shall analyze portfolios of IT systems, tools, applications and develops enterprise artifacts required for implementation; develop standard processes; manage IT portfolios; develop and refine decisional documents for senior-level review; perform resource allocation analysis; develop metrics and provide performance summaries
The SI shall be responsible for coordinating the efforts of the other SI support and for coordinating with the systems engineering activities to document program requirements.
The SI shall develop recommendations for incorporation of new technologies; develop evaluation criteria to assess emerging technologies; evaluate how technologies could interface with existing or proposed solutions; develop transition plans to incorporate new technologies
The SI shall create, draft, and review program documentation including schedules and shall create formal review program documentation for presentations. This includes, but is not limited to, developing portfolio documentation such as planning documents, board charters, and schedules, documenting meeting results, tracking action items, developing briefings, such as project overviews and charts required for ad-hoc meetings, and coordinating project events such as monthly VTCs and quarterly off-sites.
The SI shall also support customer personnel as they coordinate projects in multiple parts of the IC.
The SI shall identify and assess IT capabilities and provides enterprise-based technical and implementation recommendations; coordinate and facilitate technical exchange meetings; provide technical subject matter expertise at meetings; develop and manage incorporation/integration of IT solutions into multiple enterprises, including defining/mitigating issues, decision points and other dependencies; assess architecture to determine issues; develop data engineering strategy; define test plans and evaluation strategies.
Required Skills:
At least ten (10) years' experience with at least 5 years' experience supporting the IC
Must have experience with at least one of the following: Systems Integration; Cyber Security; Strategic Planning; Portfolio Management; Technical & Analysis Support; Technology Exploration; Web Development and Administration.
Must have experience with at least one of the following: Systems Engineering; Systems Architecture; Network Engineering; Information Assurance; Compliance Monitoring; Secure Mobile Devices; Operations Research; IC Cloud Services (e.g., C2S and GovCloud); Software Development; Knowledge Management; Strategic Communications; IT Policy Development; IT Governance; Enterprise Architecture
