01SCR55 - Aero Screen Printer (Project Management)
Read and understand production orders from job tickets to verify type and quantity of material to be run, types of ink used, color sequence, and any special instructions or requirements. Does this by reading, understanding, and applying GMN manufacturing process requirements, work instructions, and customer specifications.
Obtain substrate, screen, ink, drying rack and related supplies. Set up screen, squeegee and floodbar in press in accordance with GMN Work Instructions and processes.
Add ink to screen and print test sheet, making any necessary adjustments to color or set-up as needed. Adjustments must be made in accordance with the Work Instructions and GMN process requirements and may require consultation with supervisor or lead based on extent of adjustments needed.
Check printed items during production run for compliance with GMN manufacturing process requirements, work instructions, and customer specifications and make corrective adjustments as needed according to those same instructions or supervisor direction.
Clean up squeegee, floodbar, screen and press area by proper use of cleaning equipment and solvents. Remove screen from press. Fill out and complete the required paperwork to ensure proper tracking and progress of the work order.
May be required to operate any stage of the Screen printing process including removal of printed items from press and placing them onto drying rack, placement into an oven, or moving material onto the next stage (as appropriate).
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Experience in manufacturing environment a plus
Required Skills
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality at all times
Proficient with MS Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and use of a PC
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Reading comprehension, understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
Good math and analytical skills.
Good decision making skills; requires little supervision
Ability to plan and organize work activities with a focus on efficiency.
Ability to work under time constraints with changing priorities and minimal supervision
Must be able to follow directions and work in a team environment.
