Specimen Control & Receiving Technician (Finance)
Work Schedule:
100 % FTE, full-time day shift with occasional evening shift. Monday - Friday 8:00 AM -4:30 PM occasional flex to 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM to help evening coverage. Every other weekend 6:00 AM -2:30 PM and rotating Holidays 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM. You will work at the UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL.
Additional components of compensation may include:
- Evening, night, and weekend shift differential
- Overtime
- On-call pay

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Required
- Some post-secondary education in a healthcare or a related science field that may include course work in Medical Laboratory Technician, Cytotechnologist, Histotechnician or Medical Laboratory Scientist degree/certification. Preferred
Work Experience
- 6 months healthcare or laboratory related work experience. Required
- 1 year healthcare or laboratory related work experience. Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- PBT(ASCP) Certification. Preferred
