Save the Children
Fall Gender Equality Guyer Fellow (Agriculture)
Summary
In 2017 the Save the Children movement adopted a Gender Equality Policy positioning that a focus on gender equality is fundamental for achieving our vision for all children. The policy applies across our entire organization, to our work in both humanitarian and development contexts, globally and domestically, and across all levels, teams and departments. Save the Children US is currently developing an agency-wide Gender Equality Strategy to operationalize the organization's commitment to gender equality to effectively integrate gender equality into its operations and programming.
The Gender Equality Fellow will work with the Associate Vice President, Gender Equality and the members of the Gender Equality Hub to support the development and implementation of the Gender Equality Strategy.
The successful applicant for this fellowship will be eligible for a basic (minimum wage) stipend, with support of the David L Guyer Fellowship fund and based on application for funding. Fellows supported by the Guyer fellowship must be individuals who are embarking on their careers, have demonstrated compassion for the work Save the Children does and have a strong desire to address the needs of children and to be instrumental in developing solutions to meet those needs.
