Health and Wellness Nurse Specialist (Project Management)
Occupational Health Nurse for a Health &Wellness clinic-Provides direct nursing care for acute injuries and illnesses. Competent in emergency response. Able to evaluate clinical signs and symptoms, recognize behaviors affecting work performance, and determine appropriate health care treatment within scope of nursing practice. Conducts venipunctures and collects specimens for laboratory tests. Prepares and maintains clinical records that meet legal, and departmental requirements and assures confidentiality. Plan, organize and implement health promotion initiatives, including health education programs, and biometric screenings, to improve individual and organizational health and performance.
Must have the ability to work independently setting day to day work priorities, schedules and use of resources. Computer literate and competent in Microsoft Office.
Requirements: Baccalaureate degree currently licensed in Pennsylvania. CPR/AED certification required, ACLS, and emergency room background a plus. Minimum of 5 years nursing experience in occupational or ambulatory care, with 2 years of corporate experience preferred.
