Job Title: Community Relationship Manager II Job Reporting Relationships: Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent required, a college degree in financial related discipline preferred; obtain and maintain appropriate Bank Product Knowledge Certification; obtain and maintain active Nationwide Mortgage Licensing Registry (NMLS) and complete appropriate SAFE Act training. Skill(s): Excellent communication (face to face, phone and written) and interpersonal relations skills; proficient analytical and mathematics skills; above average attention to detail; ability to multi task; experience working in a team environment and developing relationships; working business acumen and financial literacy in Business banking; able to proactively lead, manage, motivate and coach associates to produce desired results; exhibits problem solving skills; PC and Internet proficient. Experience: A minimum of five plus (5+) years' in retail banking managerial experience and/or retail business manager with previous sales management experience, customer service and /or business development experience, and one (1) year prior supervisory experience normally required. Responsible for delivering uncommon financial and sales results while leading the Company's market presence in the local community. This individual is responsible for outbound business calling and managing a team of retail associates providing consumer and business owners trusted and consultative advice. Responsible to lead the activities of the branch profitability with particular emphasis on loan and core deposit growth while maintaining expense control. Builds rapport with new and existing customers by utilizing the CARE Program process to meet and support individual, business and organizations goals and values. Must have lending proficiency and maintain and active NMLS registration status. Must display principles of core values including teamwork, accountability, passion for helping others, communication, service oriented and continuous improvement.

Essential Duties
1. Operations
b. Responsible for sustainable revenue growth, asset quality and profitability.
c. Resolves the most difficult customer objections, and solves problems in a positive manner to retain the customer relationship. Must also balance customer experience with Bank goals and values.
d. Ensure branch is compliant with all banking regulations.
e. Ensures all safety and security procedures are followed.
f. Works with team to effectively manage the branch “book of business” for expanding customer relationships.
g. Adheres to First United Bank & Trust's culture and responsible for creating brand awareness through networking and branch events.
h. Coordinate, develop and implement branch plan and realign as needed to meet specific performance goals.
i. Maintains a professional branch appearance and inviting for customer engagement.
2. Sales & Uncommon Customer Experience a. Responsible for actively building market share, wallet share and developing opportunities utilizing our CARE Program tools and planned outbound business calling strategy.
j. Adheres to the Marketing department guidelines and branding initiatives.
b. Maintain active leadership role in the community and recognized as a community leader (project leader, board member, event chair, etc.) within your market. Leverage these opportunities for business expansion.
c. Focus on significant business owner relationships for retention, expansion and acquisition.
d. Grow capabilities of branch associates by providing guidance as well as developing individual career plans to foster a true trusted advisor culture.
e. Exhibits good listening skills and speaks clearly in positive and negative situations.
f. Maintains up to date knowledge of all products, services, technology and regulations.
g. Ability to balance business needs with customer requests while managing potential risk and profitability to the bank.
h. Proactively maintains a self-developed pipeline of customers and prospects for future opportunities with the objective of meeting or exceeding assigned goals.

b. Provides leadership to associates in order to align tasks to meet branch goals and objectives.
c. Provides sales coaching and guidance to associate for referral opportunities to team sales members.

e. Recognizes referral opportunities and initiates introductions to other lines of business (Team Sales).
f. Contributes to a positive working environment by developing trusting and cooperative relationships with customers and work associates.
g. Mentors and coaches others while providing constructive feedback to increase overall effectiveness.
4. Implements strategies to achieve goals assigned to the office as established in the Risk Management Division's annual operating plan; assists in the development of the annual budget for the office and adheres to budget parameters. 5. Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the work place. 6. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc. 7. Communicates with the Market President, other office managers, and appropriate staff personnel in order to integrate goals and activities. 8. Provides periodic reports to the Market President and other groups as required throughout the Bank. 9. Participates as an active member of Team Sales group by attending and participating in the monthly sales meetings. 10. Performs other related duties as assigned. 11. Directly supervises assigned personnel as follows: a. Assists in the selection of new personnel as appropriate. b. Makes provisions for the proper orientation and training of new personnel. c. Reviews employee performance throughout the probationary period and on a regularly scheduled basis thereafter. d. Organizes, schedules, and distributes work among assigned personnel. e. Keeps personnel informed of pertinent policies and procedures affecting the office and/or their jobs; creates an atmosphere in which upward communication from employees is encouraged. f. Administers personnel policies and procedures as established by bank policy.
