Program/Systems Analyst III (Finance)
Candidate will support the CCDC AvMC Team by providing M&S development expertise. Candidate will utilize Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools to design and document simulation operational, functional, and physical architectures. Candidate will assist government personnel in ensuring that the simulation architecture is designed in a manner that leads to mission success. Candidate will be expected to design and prepare technical reports and related documentation and make charts and graphs to record results. The candidate will work autonomously and as part of a team of engineers and scientists, as necessary, to design, develop and use distributed simulation solutions. Candidate is expected to demonstrate innovative application of technical skills to develop intellectual property, solve challenging problems, and serve as a source of professional and technical knowledge accumulated through experience.
Job Requirements:
• Candidate must have a BA/BS from an accredited college/university in the areas of Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science or similar field and 4 or more years related experience (or Master's degree and 2 or more years of experience, or a Ph.D. and 0 or more years of experience).
• Employment requires a current SECRET clearance.
Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of the US Army aviation and missile systems or US Air Force space systems, to include associated M&S and knowledge of the distributed simulation techniques is highly desired.
• The candidate should have experience in the following specific areas of modeling and simulation: 1) MBSE tools and practices, and 2) integration of distributed simulation to support experimentation.
• Candidate should have experience working on one or more intensive programs, demonstrate knowledge of and application of industry best practices, and understand the M&S development processes and methodologies.
• Experience with M&S frameworks, in particular Distributed Interactive Simulation and High Level Architecture is preferred.
• Candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, be proficient with office automation tools.
