That's exactly the type of environment you will get when you join Moog in our new Huntsville location. You will be working with a small team of approximately 20 other team members, across business lines, to establish Moog in the Huntsville area as the "go to" company for motion control related challenges.
As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of a program from contract award through end item delivery. This includes support to sales and proposal efforts through fact finding and negotiations. The Program Manager is responsible for meeting all program contractual requirements, and acts as a single point of contact for the customer and therefore must be conversant on all aspects of the program.

You will be required to have the skills necessary to successfully plan, schedule and budget new and ongoing programs. This includes the identification of critical milestones and the insertion of adequate slack in the program schedules to accommodate unplanned events.
You must be proactive in identifying issues and problems, which impact program performance, and in taking appropriate actions to resolve these issues and recover cost and schedule, in a timely manner. Program risks, including cost, technical and schedule risks, must be identified as early as possible and mitigation plans developed to minimize potential program impacts. To the extent that these actions or plans may incur additional cost or affect contractual obligations, the Program Manager is to coordinate with the Director of Programs.
