Training Analyst (Education)

We are seeking an experienced Training Analyst for our First Quality Tissue, SE facility located in Anderson, SC. The Training Analyst is responsible for implementing and supervising training systems within the plant. This includes designing, developing, updating and delivering leadership and technical training curriculum to include instructor led courses, classroom materials and web based programs using instructional design methodology. This position serves as one of the facilitators / trainers for the new hire on-boarding process.
Primary responsibilities include:
Promote an action oriented safety culture embracing safety as a core value, instilling and exemplifying a safety mindset for all team members resulting in an incident free workplace.
Directly responsible for the maintenance and management of the LMS system.
Authors and organizes training systems procedural manuals and supporting documentation for training programs and systems in accordance with ISD (Instructional System Design) and ISO-9000.
Works with Department Managers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gain agreement as to standard operating procedures for documentation and coordinates related instructional document preparation.
Design and administer performance based measurement assessments for objective evaluation of team member qualifications/pay-for-skills.
Create course content utilizing adult education best practices in various formats (Classroom to eLearning).
Serves as a backup to the document control specialist for the EQCM database.
Facilitate education programs in classroom situations and online using WebEx.
Measure effectiveness of training programs through testing, evaluations, etc.
Maintain internal share point sites ensuring content is current and accurate.
Assists with the training grants and reimbursement process.
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
Qualified four year degree required or equivalent experience.
An advanced credential in a relevant discipline/concentration; Professional certification or designation preferred.
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in training, instructional design, writing job qualifications, computer systems management and/or other related tasks preferred.
Advanced experience with LMS or Computer Based Training Systems a must.
Experience in a lean manufacturing environment preferred.
Knowledge of fundamental concepts and practices to conduct needs assessments and have the demonstrated ability to develop effective teaching plans and instructional materials.
Possess or gains a working knowledge of e-learning creation software.
Knowledge and understanding of adult learning styles with the ability to train in a diverse environment while developing and maintaining successful relationships.
Strong written, oral and presentation skills.
Possess demonstrated personal computer skills (experience with Microsoft Office or equivalent required) in graphics, word-processing, databases, authoring programs, etc. to develop presentation materials. Technical writing ability.
Possess analytical thinking, evaluation, originality and ingenuity skills.
Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, operate independently, and meet deadlines.
Ability to interact effectively at all levels within the organization.
