Sr Training/Education Manager, Selling Skills (REMOTE) (Finance)
This role will be responsible for developing, driving and delivering selling skills worldwide. The programs will be focused on the growth of Sales Representatives within the Medtronic Field Sales organization by enhancing their commercial capabilities beyond product and clinical knowledge through executing world-class selling skills and sales development initiatives and programs.
This role will also work closely with leaders from Commercial Capabilities across the globe and utilize training operations to ensure scalability and reporting results are sustained. In addition, key stakeholders include the VP of Sales, First and Second Line Managers, Sales Representatives, as well as Strategic Sales Operations, Medical Education & Field Development and Human Resources functions. Working directly with these key stakeholders, this individual will oversee the design and implementation of selling skills and sales development programming to support high professional and high potential Sales Representatives across the Medtronic Field Sales organization in line with the strategic business priorities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Lead the design, development, and implementation of selling skills initiatives and programming
Collaborate with Commercial Capabilities, Medical Education & Field Development teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness across all Sales programs and operations
Ensure all training content is to date and properly reflect selling philosophy and models
4. Guide the design, development, and implementation of Sales Representative educational initiatives and programming
Develop partnership with Human Resources to ensure alignment on development skills and behaviors
6. Ensure Sales Representative programming is aligned to the strategic business imperatives
7. Continually assess the changing needs of the Field Sales organization by performing a needs analysis to identify gaps in current and desired performance
8. Routinely measure the value and effectiveness of initiatives that support the Sales Representative development curriculum and utilize compiled data to demonstrate the return on investment and business impact
9. Demonstrate thought leadership through partnering with executive leaders on their strategic focus areas with positive impact on sales and development performance
10. Develop and implement a communication process with Field Sales Management on the changes and enhancements to the selling skills and Sales Representative development curriculum
Drive innovation and employ latest technologies to improve training efficiencies by leveraging Training Operations and Commercial Operations teams to minimizing out of territory time
12. Manage operations budget within guidelines
