Responsible for administrating and managing corporate insurance activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Acts as the primary contact and liaison for insurance-related matters.
Maintains relationships and effectively communicates with internal and external stakeholders regarding insurance-related questions and requests.
Leads the effort of maintaining a third-party cloud-based repository system (EBIX) that is used to track vendor certificates of insurance (COI).
Leads the insurance policy renewal process including requesting and compiling necessary information from various internal stakeholders to complete the renewal applications and then preparing as well as submitting these applications.
Works with various internal stakeholders as appropriate to obtain necessary to complete insurance policy applications.
Supports obtaining COIs, surety bonds and railroad protective liability insurance as necessary throughout the company.
Leads the effort to comply with the requirements under the Records and Information (RIM) policy for the various areas of risk management.
Provides prompt notification of vehicle exposure for insurance coverage confirmation.
Assists in the handling of all administrative tasks associated with insurance, including invoice processing.
Documents key business processes associated with insurance.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree (BS, BA or BBA).
Minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
Ability to interact with all levels of management and external stakeholders.
Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines.
Ability to learn and utilize job specific software.
