IT Security Analyst (Finance)
The Intermediate Security Analyst will be responsible for:
-Understanding and assessing security, confidentiality/privacy and operational risks related to internal systems and the solutions of third-party providers
-Assessments and controls include those relevant to laws, regulations, and industry security standards
-Security awareness and training activities
-Developing, implementing and supporting IT-based controls
-Evaluating new IT-based security controls, and working closely with other University departments.
This candidate will need to possess troubleshooting skills, communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to customer service. Security Group personnel are required to be available to respond to emergency security incidents on a 24/7/365 basis. An understanding of monitoring tools, network management, server and host-based security is required.
CISSP or other similar IT security certifications are preferred.
