Facilities/Maintenance Technician (Maintenance)
To maintain buildings, vehicles and equipment in good operating order and to ensure that all grounds are kept in a presentable manner at all times.
To improve the operations of KMHS in support of its stated mission. To provide the highest level of customer service to internal and external customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
RESPONSIBLE TO: Facilities Supervisor
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Two years commercial or residential building maintenance experience. General knowledge in all building trades a must. Experience in refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, carpentry and landscaping preferred. Reliable, insured transportation and valid Washington State driver license required.
PHYSICAL CONSIDERATIONS: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or listen. Requires the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. This position also requires close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Some responsibilities may be near moving mechanical parts and exposed fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, risk of electrical shock and vibration.
