Blackboard's Corporate IT organization manages the enterprise technology that supports our employees across the globe. They are focused on enterprise applications development and support, enterprise architecture, operations, infrastructure, and support. This team works with stakeholders from Finance, Sales, HR, Marketing and other internal business groups to drive initiatives and ensure needs are met. This position reports directly to the CIO.
As Chief Architect - Enterprise Applications, you will be responsible for consulting, advising, and leading strategies and initiatives to develop, maintain, and govern the enterprise architecture across the organization. You will interface across several channels, acting as a visionary to proactively assist in defining directions for future business initiatives. You will remain aware of business, technical, and infrastructure issues and act as a sounding board or consultant to aid in the development of creative solutions.
