EMS Partner Manager (Finance)
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive optimal sourcing decisions through engagement and collaboration with major stakeholders including Engineering and Product Management
• Interface and lead supply/material collaborations between Engineering, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Supplier/Manufacturing Partner(s).
• Manage all product SKU costs for NPI (proto/engineering builds) and production release as well as material/build budget planning and spend management through collaboration with Finance, Engineering and Program Management
• RFQ package creation/preparation, submission, negotiation, cost analysis and ability to concisely conduct business and performance reviews with internal and/or external stakeholders.
• Conduct CM/JDM partner selection with supporting data analysis
• All NPI and production ramp material procurement and management activities
Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of material planning, potential supply risks, sole sourced impacts, component lead-time, supplier share of business, order lead time and order cancellation window and forecasting are a must
• Comprehension of the networking industry and supply trends/challenges
• Executes risk mitigation, business continuity, cost management, and sourcing strategies
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
• Creates and utilizes supply chain and financial modeling tools
• Meets with Stakeholder managers to understand business priorities and translate them into procurement plans
• Contract formulation, negotiation and maintenance
• Negotiation and maintenance of quarterly production costing and related systems for communication/loading of pricing internally
Experience & Skills Required:
• BS degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering desired
• 8+ years of professional experience in a procurement or supply chain function
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, industry, and suppliers.
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic environment with minimal direction
• Strong analytical skills.
• Expert business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint) and supply chain modeling skills.
• Basic Project Management skills
• Mastery in English and local language.
