Position description
To provide and assist with the direct care of the elderly resident. To assist with activities of daily living, promoting the highest practicable level of physical, mental and psychosocial well-being. To have a working awareness of state and federal regulations. Responsible to provide direct care duties in a timely manner, interact politely and professionally with Health Center residents, family members, visitors, and staff. Float to other areas of Charter House.
Qualifications
Previous experience not required. Must be 18 years of age.
Additional qualifications
Previous experience with the geriatric population is preferred. Must be able to work independently. Requires good communication and human relation skills to interact with Health Service and Charter House staff. Strong problem solving skills are necessary. Must be able to adapt to unpredictable situations and stress.
License or certification
Nursing Assistant Certification required and must be listed on the MN Nursing Assistant Registry.

Compensation Detail
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $14.53 per hour.
