Lifestyles Manager & AV Specialist (Media)
Full-time position available. Schedules events and programs for IL and coordinates Lifestyles all-campus events as well as overseeing all AV programming across campus.
- In consultation with Director and residents, identifies and schedules performing arts and other programs for residents.
- Host presentations or schedules hosts and communicates to host of the arts presentations the details of the performances.
- Provide leadership to the Lifestyles team in cross-campus events, ensuring that all elements of events (including volunteer requests, performer scheduling, publicity, and coordination with staff when needed) are planned and carried out in a way to ensure a successful event across the campus.
- Serve as liaison to Resident Activity Committee and supports resident led group activities.
- Manage the Production Coordinator assuring that all AV equipment and outputs are in working order and updated.
- Manage the Activity Coordinator(s) assuring that all duties are created and implemented.
- Oversee AV equipment usage and inventory.
- Investigate new technology supporting the Friendship Village Strategic Plan
- Work with IT department to assure that AV production is coordinated with IT requirements.
- Manage the Caremerge and OneDay products.
- Manage and provides technical support to associates and invited guests/speakers.
- Manage and train volunteers and associates in equipment set-up and operation.
- Manage the photographing of major events and the output on all communication products of these photos.
- Manage the creation and editing of video productions for the Lifestyles department
