Branch Operations Officer (Project Management)
Evaluates needs of potential clients and offers appropriate financial products and services.
Prepares and compiles new client application and information to open new account.
Provides ongoing relationship servicing with current clients to maintain goodwill and gain additional business.
Informs and advises clients of status or enhancements to current account productivity, and suggests resolution on account disputes and other account activity.
Responds to client inquiries and requests regarding accounts.
Promotes and cross-sells other establishment products and services as appropriate to client requirements.
Generates new business to assist in meeting establishment profitability goals.
Assists with promotional activities as needed.
Handles daily operational duties such as overdraft report, branch certifications and other operational duties as required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Branch Operations Officer acts as a back-up supervisor to the Branch Manager which includes but is not limited to support of staff by direct support and supervision, making hold decisions on items up to assigned limits, providing operational guidance to Client Service Representatives and New Accounts staff.
Effectively manages Client Service Representatives through ongoing training and development.
Responsible for assessing Client Service Representatives' performance and completing evaluations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years banking experience.
Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
Minimum 3 years of operations experience preferred.
Must be proficient using Word, Excel and Outlook applications and banking programs.
Ability to work scheduled hours and maintain regular attendance, including rotating Saturdays.
