Customer Financial Services Sr Representative (539954) (Finance)
Under general supervision of Manager, has responsibility for the credit and collection of Customer accounts. Maintains DSO and past due accounts receivable levels at or better than corporate budgeted standards and expectations. Provides support to sales administration through prudent credit decisions to improve and maintain corporate sales levels.
Monitor and review accounts on a daily basis. Identify and report process and/or procedural problems as necessary. Maintain well-documented credit files and cultivate key contact personnel for each problem account. Collaborate routinely and establish positive working relationship with Zimmer distributors and their employees to maximize total collection effort. Provide support, give direction and answer questions from communications received from customers and distributor offices. Identify disputes and/or deductions track through resolution cycle utilizing good communication and relationship management with sales, customer service, shipping, etc. Monitor credit limits and terms for customer accounts and analyze daily credit hold report to ensure prudent and proper shipment of merchandise. Answer written correspondence. Determine uncollectible accounts receivable and refer to Manager for appropriate action. Provide positive customer relations and account management, while establishing guidelines to minimize bad debt losses and delinquencies.
Ability to consistently maintain department collection standards, policies, and best practices. Ability to handle multiple tasks within designated timelines and prioritize workload. Ability to set personal goals and maintain focus Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills Excellent negotiation and organizational Outstanding Inter-personal Skills Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint applications. Access report writing skills necessary.
Associates Degree preferred and 5 plus years' previous experience in a credit/collections role is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
