Automotive account specialist (Finance)
Automotive account specialist performs reviews on customer EDI demand and enters manual demand as required. This role has the responsibility to serve as a liaison between the customer and the manufacturing facility to ensure that materials are produced in time to maintain the designated inventory levels. This role must also work closely with internal warehousing operation and effectively communicate customer order requirements and ensure that orders are executed on time to avoid any type of customer production line disruption.
This role also coordinates with engineering to ensure that part number changes are implemented correctly, that breakpoints are set with consideration of on hand inventories to avoid obsolescence.
Resolves production scheduling and shipping or invoicing problems; Must be able to handle high pressure situations and to manage multiple priorities such as participating in escalation calls to support with allocation analysis during material shortages incidents and to coordinate shipment execution when regular transportation lanes are violated. Must be able to use Excel to perform analysis by creating spreadsheets and pivot tables. Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.
