The Laser Field Repair Technician helps support jewelers worldwide by delivering top-notch service, repairs, and maintenance for laser equipment in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

B&D employs a team of highly qualified technicians that offer their expertise in diagnostics, maintenance, and knowledge of vital equipment. The team is continuing to grow, and recently moved into a new, larger facility to better serve our customers!

Key Responsibilities:

Answer customer inquiries via phone, email, and virtual platforms.
Work with customers to troubleshoot, test, and repair their laser equipment remotely and in person.
Document customer interactions and process invoices using company systems.
Collaborate with internal specialists to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Drive the company van for customer site visits and equipment deliveries.
Lift, crate, and uncrate laser equipment and shipments as needed.
Travel to customer locations, with occasional overnight trips.
Maintain a professional and customer-first attitude during all service interactions.


Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (subject to drug screen and background check).
Strong communication skills across phone, email, and in-person interactions.
Customer-focused mindset with quick problem-solving abilities.
Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Technical and mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn circuitry and mechanics.
Positive, coachable attitude and strong work ethic.


Preferred Qualifications:

Forklift operation experience.
Previous electrical, micro-electronics, or technician experience.
Knowledge of the jewelry industry and/or laser equipment
