The Biomedical Technician Trainee is working to complete a training program to become a Biomedical Technician. The Biomedical Technician Trainee has up to 18 months to complete the training program.
After the successful completion of the program, the employee is eligible to apply for a Biomedical Technician position. Biomedical staff are responsible for the repair and maintenance of equipment at all Puget Sound Kidney Centers (PSKC) facilities.
Qualifications & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associates degree preferred.
Valid Washington State driver's license, and insurable on the PSKC automobile policy.
Current certification of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with a Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers card. Must maintain an active BLS-CPR certification.
Must obtain the National Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) or Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) by the 18th month in the position.
