Cnslt, Restructure Sltns (Finance)
Consultants work closely with clients, consultants, transition managers, relationship management/client servicing, legal, compliance, portfolio management, legacy/target managers/funds, recordkeepers, and operations staff for designing/leading implementation strategies based on overall stated goal/objective including:
a) Creation of a direction letter for the client to execute
b) Approval of overall timeline submitted by a transition manager/consultant/client
c) Distribution of an Action Plan which outlines roles/responsibilities, dates, etc.
d) Chasing of all deliverables to ensure successful execution of action items for purposes of effective risk management, improved overall client experience, and positioning for additional revenue opportunities
Leads events with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact
May have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management
Able to serve as a key subject matter expert to other partners and mentor to more junior level employees
Ensures daily operational activities/deliverables are completed according to timeline/plan
More technically sound in area of expertise with a broader knowledge of other areas
Able to facilitate discussions and reach decisions
A College or University degree and/or relevant investment management work experience is preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is required
