Salesforce Business Process Analyst (Project Management)
Equifax is seeking an experienced Business Analyst as part of the Global Operations team. The Business Analyst is responsible for the overall functional requirements of Salesforce to orchestrate business processes across the enterprise, including definition of business needs, business process and business requirements. The Business Analyst is responsible for identifying areas of transformation and leading cross functional teams through standardization of business processes to enable enterprise processes via Salesforce and enable business value.
The Business Analyst works cross-functionally and with multiple levels of the organization to ensure timely and quality design of end-to-end solutions. The successful candidate will be experienced and motivated, with a strong sense of urgency and solid understanding of cloud technologies, preferably the Salesforce platform and its capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
•Collaborate with multiple levels of the sales, marketing, finance and operations organizations, including process leaders/owners to understand current customer acquisition and boarding business issues and pain points.
•Identify opportunities to leverage the Salesforce platform to address pain points and drive business value.
•Partner with business stakeholders to understand current customer acquisition and boarding business processes, identify gaps between current processes and enterprise process, define solutions to address gaps, document user stories and business requirements and associated business value.
•Provide analysis to drive prioritization of user stories across multiple business processes and stakeholders.
•Design and implement business solutions to satisfy functional and non-functional requirements while ensuring quality, scalability and timely delivery.
•Create and maintain project deliverables to ensure business processes, use cases, business requirements, functional designs, test plans, etc. are thoroughly and consistently documented using standard templates and centralized repository
•Design data and solution architecture to support business processes
•Collaborate with Process Owner/Architect, Admins and IT partners on complex technical solutions
•Coach junior analysts
•Document acceptance criteria and testing requirements for positive, negative and regression testing for user stories.
•Provide guidance to QA Leader to execute testing activities for use cases, including defect resolution (tracking, triage, resolve, re-test)
•Embrace the Equifax single instance strategy for Salesforce.com by supporting governance processes and designing business solutions within the governance model.
•Maintain an understanding of the Equifax Salesforce.com platform and functional components, including functional data model, integration between components and impacts of process and functional designs with upstream and downstream processes.
•Establish and maintain positive communication and professional relationships with internal/external customers, team members and vendors/partners.
•Stay current on Salesforce.com functionality, best practices, releases, product roadmaps and 3rd party applications available via the AppExchange.
•Obtain/maintain basic Salesforce.com admin certification.
•Seek additional certifications as Equifax solutions mature and require.
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
•Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Computer Science, MIS, or Industrial Engineering preferred.
•Salesforce.com certification preferred
Minimum Qualifications and Competencies:
•7-10 years of business analysis experience within a professional services, sales or customer support operations role
•Experience defining business requirements, writing user stories, creating detailed functional designs and process documentation
•Exceptional work ethic, customer service and interpersonal skills
•Excellent verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
•Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
•Demonstrated skills in negotiation, decision making, and problem solving
•Ability to motivate and influence others
•Ability to work in a highly matrixed business environment
•Ability to work in a geographically dispersed business environment
•Working knowledge of SDLC and Agile (Scrum) project methodologies
