Administrative Assistant - Drive & Rotor Shop (Transportation)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assists Shop Operations with day to day requirements of various projects, data entry schedule updates, etc.
• Clerical and administrative tasks as assigned by Shop Manager.
• Development and updating of all database needs.
• Assists in tracking and managing training/recurrent training requirements for personnel.
• Conduct oneself in accordance with Company's Core Values.
• Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• 2 years' experience required in an administrative and/or office environment. Maintenance or service related field experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact with team members to compile and deliver information.
• Preferred experience with an electronic file maintenance and tracking system.
• Required to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to multi-task and be organized in a deadline driven environment.
• Ability to work in a high paced environment with ever-changing priorities.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills demonstrating the ability to work independently as well as in a team oriented setting on various projects with multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast past environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with the ability to learn additional customized computer programs and software; requires intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SharePoint is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team orientated environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas and concepts.
