Recruiter (Human Resources)



KMHS is Kitsap's nonprofit, designated community mental health provider for adults with acute and/or chronic serious mental illnesses, and children with serious emotional disturbances and their families. During 2016, KMHS provided services to more than 6,800 children and adults. On WA's beautiful Kitsap Peninsula, offers easy access to both the pristine wilderness of the Olympic Peninsula and the big-city lights and culture of Seattle. As the Recruiter, you'll report to the Human Resources Director and be responsible for developing, coordinating, implementing and directing effective recruitment strategies to meet current and future staffing needs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Manage the full cycle recruitment process including interview-prep and closure
  • Post open positions on various job boards both internally and externally.
  • Build relationships with candidates and hiring managers to promote a smooth recruiting and hiring process
  • Sourcing using job board resources, internal database and social media
  • Identifying qualified candidates and conducting phone screen interviews
  • Perform background investigations including resume review, reference checks and employment verifications
  • Coordinate and conduct orientation and processing of new employees.
  • Compiles statistical reports concerning employment function activity such as recruitment, applicant flow, applicant demographics, pre-screening activities, interviews, and selection. 
  • Implement, train, and promote transition from paper recruiting processes to fully utilizing existing ATS.

Performs other duties as assigned to support the Human Resources team and agency.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of demonstrated successful recruiting experience for a variety of positions at all levels
  • Experience managing a recruiting cycle from start to finish
  • Experience identifying, developing and maintaining a vast network of passive candidates
  • Ability to maintain continuous communication with candidates throughout the interview lifecycle and be an ambassador for Kitsap Mental Health
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, ATS (Paycom preferred), and social media channels
  • Demonstrated success leveraging social media platforms to build pipeline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Health Care industry experience a plus
