Description
To maintain superior customer focus, we are seeking a PRODUCT MANAGER to join our team. For the right candidate, this role can lead to other challenging opportunities in sales, marketing, quality, or business development, in Louisville, or perhaps within the vast Emerson network of companies around the world!
Responsibilities
Define overall strategy to meet growth and profitability targets
Product Managers are responsible for identifying unmet customer needs
Be a market expert – conduct market research, understand trends, market share, competition, customer types, and buying influences
Champion innovation including defining requirements for new product development teams
Successfully launch new products including sales tools, collateral, and creative marketing programs
Conduct application studies and identify solutions for targeted markets
Develop value messaging for products and conduct product demonstrations / training to customers and sales force
Develop strategy to expand sales channel capabilities
Assist regional sales managers with key account strategies
Set pricing strategy to meet revenue and profit target
Deliver a monthly revenue forecast for sales and operations planning
Additional Information
B.S. in Business Administration, Marketing, or Engineering; MBA preferred
Minimum five years experience with a history of demonstrated success in product management or market analysis
