Wunderman Thompson and Rolex have been global partners for over 70 years. One of the key pillars of this relationship are the Rolex Sponsorship communications. Rolex sponsors multiple sports categories including golf, tennis, motorsport, equestrianism and yachting. This includes the pinnacle events in these categories, as well legend, icon and up-and-coming ambassadors.
The Sponsorship Account Director will be truly passionate about sports and an expert in these categories, to partner with the respective clients who are responsible for these disciplines. The work will include planned yearly campaign assets as well as special, unplanned communications commemorating notable achievements.
The Sponsorship Account Director is responsible for leading a global team to develop, produce and deploy all communications surrounding these sponsorship efforts including TV, Print, Online, Social and Mobile – resulting in hundreds of assets. This team is comprised of Wunderman Thompson account, planning and creatives as well as international production and transcreation companies.
