Lead Kids Club (Finance)
Minimum age of 21 years
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience with children leading recreational activities
At least 2 years of equivalent part time satisfactory and verifiable experience with school aged children and/or family programming
KEY FOCUS AREAS:
Greet all parents and children as they enter the area, and communicate Learn & Play policies and guidelines
Supervise and participate with children during all large and small group activities
Communicate effectively and exhibit a positive, professional attitude with all staff, parents and children
Need to have the ability to work independently for some special events, i.e. Birthday Parties
May be required to work hours outside of normal work schedule for staff meetings, trainings, extended program hours, parent nights, or association events
Provide appropriate care, supervision, mentorship, and nurturing to Learn & Play participants, and maintain discipline and order.
Assist with scheduling of staff in youth program areas
Observe and interact with children and physically intervene when safety of children might be compromised.
Attend to the needs of children promptly and with care.
Provide a pleasant and positive environment for children by means of cleanliness, order, interactive activity, and décor.
Develop simple activities, arts and crafts, games, and stories for use during appropriate theme weeks.
