Entry Level Architect - White Plains, NY (Finance)



Arcadis seeks an entry level architectural designer in our White Plains office.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the development of design concepts.
  • Assist in the development and preparation of reports and forms for submission to clients and public agencies.
  • Research products and material for potential use in design.
  • Gather multidisciplinary information and data for input into reports.
  • Preparing presentation of designs for client and public presentations
KEY ATTRIBUTES
  • Good knowledge of architectural design concepts
  • Inquisitive about the built environment
  • Show initiative in taking task to next level.
  • Ability to multitask and follow-up of tasks that are complex.
  • Ability to organize and collaborate with various disciplines.

Required Qualifications:

Education - Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related art to technical field.

Years of Experience - Zero to 2 years

Basic technical skills, including CADD, graphics (2D and 3D modeling), Microsoft Office products, and Adobe Photoshop and InDesign skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education -Master Degree in Architecture, Urban Planning or related art or technical field.
Certifications/License - LEED and Autodesk or similar certification.
Good skills in presentation of design - Revit, Escape, 3D Max, and other presentation programs.
Some knowledge of construction technics - wood, steel and masonry construction.
