Summary:
Responsible for the timely and quality delivery of system development including internal documentation, end user documentation, project planning, designing, and coding of software projects.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide timely and accurate business needs analysis, documentation of current systems and project plans.
Work with end users in gathering requirements and assist in planning for new software applications.
Participate in design and development of physical and logical application frameworks that are extensible, stable and re-usable.
Responsible for providing coding design, converting project plans and coding designs to maintainable code that satisfies the business needs of the organization.
Responsible for making improvement recommendations to the Director of Application Development concerning changes in business process, internal department process and software development tools.
Deliver excellent service through actively learning the company's business processes, responding to the needs of internal customers and following through on commitments.
Ensure complete issue tracking and reporting is maintained.
Other projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor degree or higher required, MS certifications a plus.
Strong understanding of SDLC and Project Management fundamentals.
Strong understanding of business practices through work experience preferred.
A minimum of 5 years programming within a structured team environment.
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Proficient skills in using Visual Studio, SourceSafe, and TFS
Proficient programming in ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC, C#, JavaScript, and SQL
Working knowledge of SPA frameworks and Telerik libraries a plus.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize based on criticality.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
Ability to speak Spanish or Portuguese a plus.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Ability to take initiative on projects and anticipate problem areas and solutions beyond the original scope.
