The Arbor Day Foundation is seeking an individuals to join our Fulfillment team. This is a part-time position. The Fulfillment Assistant is responsible for collecting and preparing outgoing mail for mailing and deliveries. The position is also responsible for handling the fulfillment of transmittal requests for publications and collateral goods. An ideal candidate is reliable, positive, a quick learner, self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and has an ability to multitask without making errors. Responsibilities: · Collects and prepares outgoing mail for mailing and delivers incoming goods (UPS, FedEx, packages, etc.) to appropriate personnel/department. · Enters UPS and USPS Priority Mail packages on a computerized program. · Handles/Packages the fulfillment of transmittal requests for publications and collateral goods. · Operates a variety of mail room office machines including postage meter, inserter, and folder. · Learn to operate programs for shipping, and requirements to ensure proper application and usage of bulk mailings, postage classes, rates, parcel post, etc. · Assist Lettershop Operator during peak periods. · Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications: · Passion for the Foundation's mission, trees, nature, and environmental stewardship. · Positive attitude, professionalism, efficient, high attention to detail and strong work ethic. · Knowledgeable in various computer programs, such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe Reader (will train on Adobe if necessary). · Ability to drive a 10 passenger van. Must have a valid Driver's License. · Ability to operate electronic pallet lift. · Capable of lifting and moving up to 75 pounds. · Will need to have a set schedule, however, that schedule can change each semester if the employee is attending college. · High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Similar or equivalent work experience is a plus.
