About the Opportunity
The Community Development Department has an immediate opening for an experienced individual who will partner and lead the execution of a key initiative of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, focused on Systems Change. The goal of this program is to accelerate community-driven cross-sector partnerships that focus on economic resilience. While reporting to an Assistant Vice President, your key responsibilities include relationship building, outreach, implementation and team support with a variety of partners. You will work with key leaders in the philanthropic and private/public sectors to implement the objectives of the program. Implementation will include extensive outreach to organizations engaged in community development, including non-profits, municipalities, and private sector organizations. You will be responsible for helping with the application processes, and support the selected community teams with coaching, technical assistance and capacity building. You will also engage in a variety of relationship-building activities, including hosting meetings, conferences, and trainings, and you must be adept at engaging leadership across the state to support strong cross-sector coalitions.
