Construction Manager (Architecture)

Job Description:

  • Manage mod and CRAN construction projects from initial site design review through completed drawings including COP Close Out Package.
  • Resolving issues. Purchase Order initiation to vendors.
  • Confirmation of completed work and receipt of the projects in Peoplesoft.
  • Manage construction activities related to the development of multiple, simultaneous Network infrastructure projects including; Monitoring progress, providing regular status updates, Resolving issues.
  • Provide team leadership and guidance.
  • Demonstrate professionalism by responding to e-mails promptly, actively participating in meetings,
  • Working with other departments and understanding the impact of their job to the overall business.
  • Establish quality assurance methods, procedures, standards, and technical training related to site design and construction.
  • Preliminary drawing review (if necessary)
  • Final construction drawings review (if necessary)
  • Pull site documents from FUZE
  • Review NREC for accuracy
  • Review NREGC for accuracy
  • Compile site documents and submit to GC
  • Submit and Monitor Site List to GC for current year POR
  • Review passing structural analysis for accuracy
  • Review mod options for failing structural analysis
  • Redline drawings for revision as new standards are issued
  • Create BOM
  • Order A&L materials
  • Order equipment
  • Review GC site audit/quote for accuracy
  • Create GC Services PO
  • Track material receipts
  • Coordinate GC application and receipt of permits
  • Coordinate application and receipt of external NTP
  • Coordinate Release to Construction with GC
  • Communicate EES requirements to GC
  • Weekly PM Call
  • GC weekly Site Traker Call
  • Update SiteTracker with current notes and construction schedule
  • Coordinate A&L delivery
  • MR A&L material
  • MR Nokia material
  • Review Close Outs for accuracy
  • Upload closeout package to FUZE
  • Communicate construction completion to team
  • Verify all construction FUZE tasks are completed
  • Submit AVF/APD to Network Assurance prior to close outs
  • Receive construction and PM PO's
  • Coordinate warranty repairs as necessary
  • Issue Material PO's from BOM created through Fuze or sent to PO team for creation
  • Issues MR's to staging team for deployment to N8 or site LDC
  • Resolve Site Quality tickets issued for projects less than 6 months old are on current POR
  • Assist with Cell Improvement projects including HVAC, PP upgrade, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Strong prior CPM experience covering the responsibilities above
  • Ability to explain issues clearly, providing updates, maintaining records
  • Effective communication skills
  • Capable of multi-tasking.
  • Have a good understanding and knowledge of using SiteTraker.
  • Have a good understanding and knowledge of using FUZE.

Additional Position Requirements:

A background investigation and drug test is required.
