The Portfolio/Vendor Management Analyst will be responsible for supporting the portfolio of projects, reporting, metrics, and dashboard to various stakeholders and executive leaders while ensuring compliance to processes. In addition, this role is responsible for IT vendor management for the company to ensure best value purchasing and on time renewals. This position will directly report to the IT Business Services Director.
Ensure the effective use of IT methodologies for project, program, and portfolio management by providing expert guidance on deliverables, process, and approach
Collaborate with Program/Project Managers, Technical Managers, or Business Relationship Managers to gain understanding and support of simplified processes around governance, reporting, and demand management across IT
Lead the demand and gating process for prospects through the IT Intake Process
Create and deliver presentations that focus on key strategies, tactics, deliverables, and financial projections. Coordinate with IT PMO to stage projects for Initiation phase and run the project or hand-off to Project Manager
Pro-actively manage portfolio planning, status development/reporting, risk mitigation, and change management activities and coordinate tightly with IT Management
Identify, develop, implement, and enhance project portfolio metrics, reporting, and dashboards capturing weekly, monthly, and accumulative trending
Administer Project Portfolio performance improvement analysis/activities
Act as Point of Contact for IT Sourcing and Procurement for purchasing IT goods, services, and software to process requests, and complete purchases based on competitive pricing
Assist in the development, implementation, and delivery of vendor dashboards, vendor/market intelligence reports, identification of significant vendor changes, vendor/market opportunities, vendor risk analysis
Support in tracking expiration, initiate communications, and renewal of IT contracts

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent degree, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
3 years' experience in Data Analysis or Information Technology, or a related field
3 years' experience with vendor management
Any combination of the following certifications is a plus: CAMP, CSAM, CHAMP, or CITAM
Expert MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
