The Challenge Ahead: 

Come join EA's Next-Gen Talent team (formerly the University Relations team dedicated to identifying, cultivating, and delivering the next generation of talent to EA) within the Talent Acquisition organization, where we are at the forefront of EA's talent strategy. We help EA's leaders make data-driven decisions on how to attract, retain and optimize EA's workforce. This role is part of EA's dynamic People Experience team where analytics is a key focus area for transforming the People Experience function.

 

The ideal Talent Analyst is...

A bold thinker who is both analytical and resourceful. You understand people and the People Experience function, and enjoy using data and analytics to align hiring programs with business objectives, establishing progress updates for key stakeholders, generating holistic insights on program effectiveness. From building models to predict attrition, to building one-stop data visualization for key business leaders, you will be key to supplying the analytical power to help EA win in a hyper-competitive talent marketplace.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related quantitative field such as Finance, Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Actuarial Science, Economics or Mathematics
  • Experience in technology focusing on HR Data or Analytics (e.g., Visier, Workday, Alteryx, Tableau, Hyperion, R, Python, SQL etc.)
  • Experience analyzing, validating, and delivering on high visibility analytical projects; with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize complex quantitative data into easy to understand and actionable recommendations that will resonate with business leaders
  • Detail orientation, accounting level precision with reconciling data and analyses
  • Familiarity with HR work/processes, Workforce Planning, or Financial Planning
  • Strong knowledge of data ETL, data modeling, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets spreadsheet management and presentation of data via PowerPoint and Google Slides
  • Experience in writing reports supporting analytics and providing enhanced insights and conclusions
  • Program Management; highly organized and can develop a timeline and drive others
  • Strong Communicator – both verbal and written

 

Key Responsibilities, aka What does a Talent Analyst do?

  • End-to-end ownership of monthly Talent dashboarding & analysis, developing models/presentations, insights generation and partnership with senior leaders
  • Support the Recruiter in the collection and reconciliation of headcount plans and estimates, across several Business Units
  • Create Talent Analytics deliverables for a wide variety of stakeholders across the business to ensure that critical HR business needs are met on a timely basis
  • Talent reporting – generation of monthly and quarterly workforce reports to support status alignment and insight updates across the TA Portfolio (Talent, Executive, Mobility, & Branding)
  • Partners with Workforce Planning and Analytics team to deliver on key analytical projects
  • Liaises with finance partners, resource managers, talent acquisition and HR leaders to deliver monthly Workforce Planning process
  • Develops various Workforce analysis, and analyzing data for key insights in support of HR and Business Leaders
  • Has a keen eye for process improvement and automation of ongoing deliverables
