Description
This position will lead the business relationships with, and sales efforts to, multiple Air Conditioning OEM accounts participating in various commercial & residential market segments. Product responsibilities involve compressors, controls and services within a ~$40M territory. This strategic role will be responsible for securing sales and profitability growth with both existing and prospective customers through the execution of product and business strategies that involve the development of customer product profiles that frame NBO targeting, implementation of product launches and phase-outs that satisfy both customer and shareholder needs, and the execution of price and NMI recovery strategies. Account Executive responsibilities include collaboration with Marketing to develop tailored customer strategies, Emerson Application Engineering to address customer technical needs, and leadership of Inside Sales teammate to drive internal alignment of customer engagement and to satisfy internal reporting responsibilities.

Basics
Four (4) year degree plus four (4) years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have solid relationship management, communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate leading group projects involving customers and peers in various business and engineering roles.
Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite programs
Must be able to travel extensively, including to customer headquarter and manufacturing locations.
Effective skills in negotiation, formal and casual presentation, and writing
Strong time management & prioritization skills, ability to multi-task and effectively delegate critical responsibilities to support team while delivering on-time
Preferred
Bachelor's in Business Administration, Marketing, Entrepreneurship or similar business discipline, or a Bachelor's degree in a technical field plus five (5) years of relevant work experience.
MBA/MS a plus
Sales background is preferred, but not required if HVAC industry experience that includes customer-facing responsibilities
Three (3) to Five (5) years HVAC/R specific experience
Very knowledgeable of HVAC/R compressors, systems, system components and electronics, and industry
Experience with, and demonstrated success in B2B sales, particularly to OEM accounts
Trans-cultural communication skills would be a plus.
