BENEFITS TECHNICIAN (Administrative)
The Benefits Technician is a forward-facing position that requires a high-level of customer service. This position is responsible for assisting employees with benefits questions and concerns, performing one on one benefits counseling sessions, assisting with system testing, and ensure benefit deductions/credits are correct for payroll.
This role assists with new employee orientation to include presentation of benefits and completion of required documentation. The Benefit Technician is also responsible for processing all new hire, termination, family status changes, as well as the billing process for employees on FMLA and personal leaves of absences from the university.
Required Education: GED/High School Grad OR an equivalent combination of education/job related experience, AND:
