Market Leader - Life Sciences (Project Management)
Position Summary
The Market Leader role is critical to the overall success of the Korn Ferry/ Professional Search business in North America. This role will be responsible for further developing the overall market strategy to drive revenue and ensure execution excellence.
The Practice Leader will work closely with our Korn Ferry Executive Search Leadership & Talent Consulting teams and colleagues to extend and grow our professional search brand and drive search revenue with both existing and new accounts within the North American region.
The Practice Leader will provide market presence and thought leadership for the KF team executing on retained searches in North America. A skilled, full-life-cycle search professional, he/she will possess demonstrated forward-facing sales and business development abilities, strong team management skills and a solutions-based consultative approach to our professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Manage, develop and drive revenue with internal and external stakeholders
Manage on-site and remote team of recruiters, revenue generators, and leaders
Realize opportunities for efficiencies in solution execution and implement innovative solutions and continuous improvement initiatives delivering to SLAs and KPIs
Deliver services with high levels of client satisfaction
Advise clients on market trends, best practices and opportunities for improvement and/or corrective action
Lead, design and implement talent acquisition solutions for clients
Liaise with key stakeholders across Korn Ferry Professional Search and Executive Search
Define and communicate individual and team metrics, coaching, counseling and measure performance
Manage and set strategic direction with sales and execution team through quarterly and annual reviews
Maintain awareness of creative sourcing strategies and work closely with the team to develop the best approach for clients
Communicate effectively with the client to identify needs and evaluate alternative recruiting solutions
Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction
Inspire your team to attain goals and pursue excellence
Required Skills:
10+ years of senior leadership or director level experience within talent acquisition, to include retained search and/or in-house talent acquisition experience
8+ years of life sciences industry experience
5+ years of proven success leading and motivating managers and change management
5+ years of KPI achievement and upselling to client stakeholders
5+ years of stakeholder management, influencing and utilizing negotiation skills
5+ years of interacting with senior leadership/director level both written and verbally
Preferred Skills:
15+ years of senior leadership and/or director level experience within talent acquisition
10+ years of proven success leading and motivating managers
10+ years of KPI achievement and upselling to client stakeholders
5+ years of Global business experience
Education
Bachelor's degree required
