MACHINIST (Finance)
Conventional lathe and mill experience
Mastercam training certificate or 3-5 years' work experience

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
· Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven production environment
· Regular attendance per work schedule and able to at times of high volume work overtime including Saturday work
· Proper use of precise measuring equipment
· Lifting parts from 5 to 50 lbs. from carts and various size storage containers.
· Must be able to maintain a clean work station and assist dept. in cleaning functions
· Must be able to read blue prints, interpret work order requirements, and drawings specifications
· Previous Forklift Experience and pallet jack use or willingness to receive training
· Compliance of all shop safety rules and company policies
· Participate in the rotation schedule as delegated by manager or lead
Read and Write CNC lathe programs in G CODE using HAAS and FANUC controls
Perform Job set-up on Haas Lathes utilizing bar-feeder and sub-spindle.
Perform Job set-up on standard Haas 3-axis mill.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
· Assist in all stages of the Machine Shop
· Produce quality dampers per design specifications and work instructions
· Program, set-up and Produce Prototype parts through multiple machining operations. CNC machinist is responsible for programming lathe and mill operations with Mastercam or manually writing programs
Provide proven CNC programs for production of lathe and mill parts, and assist operators with set-up through creation of set-up instructions and or hands on training when necessary.
Produce tooling, fixtures, Chuck jaws as needed for prototype and production requirements by use of conventional or CNC equipment.
CNC machinist reports directly to lead machinist and is required to operate CNC machine to produce production parts when prototyping and programming work is not available.
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
· Sitting, Standing, and bending movements: Frequent standing with breaks according to work schedule, frequent bending movements
· Repetitive work with both hands on parts and computer usage
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at certain times
· Ability to operate a manual pallet jack and maneuver product around to staging areas
