Job Description:
Position Summary
The individual in this position follows departmental operating procedures, job processing control procedures and machine operating procedures as it relates to the inserting of clients documents and checks. He/she operates Pitney Bowes intelligent inserters. The expectation is that through team work, each job is completed with the highest possible level of accuracy. The individual in this position is required to work a variety of shifts as scheduled.
Job responsibilities of the Processing Specialist include:
· Efficiently operate inserters with quality being a key component of successful operation.
· Ensure jobs are balanced using appropriate balancing process.
· Apply correct postage rates via work orders and USPS postage rates.
· Troubleshoot issues on the inserters and involve support technicians immediately when resolution is not quickly diagnosed.
· Other duties and responsibilities as needed.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
The position requires
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Previous experience in a variety of mailings such as checks, statements, and/or other miscellaneous correspondences is helpful but not required.
· Experience on Pitney Bowes high speed electronic inserters
· Strong mechanical ability and aptitude with high attention to detail.
· Ability to follow oral and written instruction.
· Able to operate Pallet Jack to move pallets.
· Able to operate and troubleshoot basic set up issues on the meter machines.
· Able to apply correct postage based on mail category and appropriate postage rates for that category, and pending vendor pickups.
· Ability to consistently meet production targets.
· Demonstrate a willingness to cross train and provide assistance in other departments
On-Going Requirement for Acceptable Security Profile: As a result of the highly-confidential and secure work environment and based upon multiple, on-going client contractual obligations, all staff working at Epiq Class Action & Claims Solutions must undergo an initial suitability review for security clearance.
