Senior New Accounts/CSR III (Floater) (Project Management)
Evaluates needs of potential clients and offers appropriate financial products and services. Promotes and cross-sells Bank products and services. Remains up to date and knowledgeable
Generates new business to assist in meeting Bank profitability goals.
Prepares and compiles new client applications and information to open new accounts.
Maintains knowledge and stays abreast of applicable New Account laws, procedures, proper account titling and required documentation.
Provides ongoing relationship servicing with current clients to maintain goodwill and gain additional business.
Responds to client inquiries and requests regarding account.
Responsible for compliance with all Banking regulations including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act.
Receives checks and cash for deposit, verifies amount, and examines checks for endorsements.
Cashes checks and pays out money after verification of signatures and client balances.
Enters clients' transactions into computer to record transactions, and issues computer generated receipts.
Places holds on accounts for uncollected funds.
Orders daily supply of cash, and counts incoming cash.
Balances currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift and compares totaled amounts with data displayed on computer screen.
Explains, promotes, or sells products or services such as traveler's checks and cashier's checks.
Removes deposits from, counts and balances cash in night depository.
Issues official checks, traveler's checks and savings bond applications.
Performs safe deposit duties by opening accounts, controlling access, assisting clients and processing affiliated reports.
May gather data and process various reports (e.g., currency transaction, returned items, overdrafts, callbacks, etc.)
Maintains files, copies and fax documents, and orders and distributes supplies.
Provide expedient and courteous service to all clients both in person and on the phone.
Backup Supervisory Duties:
Processes Daily Large Transaction report and scans to Compliance Department by established cutoff time.
Processes GEM Exception Items and prints and files related supporting documents by established cutoff time.
Approves large transactions for teller staff up to assigned limit.
Provides supervisor override for transactions requiring supervisor review, after careful review has been made.
Reviews ATM balancing report and signs as reviewed.
Supports Branch Manager and his/her backup with various assigned duties.
Handles difficult client situations, in the absence of the Branch Manager or his/her backup.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 5 years banking teller experience is required.
Experience with opening new accounts is required.
Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
Must be proficient using Word, Excel and Outlook applications and banking programs.
Ability to work scheduled hours, including Saturdays, and maintain regular attendance.
Ability to travel to other branches as needed.
