Job Description:

As a Product Engineer, you will support new product development in a lab environment.  You will work with team members from design, test, and product engineering to meet New Product Development release schedules.  You will be exposed to product release requirements including (but not limited to) device characterization, datasheet development, test development and quality requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Characterization of packaged semiconductor products in a lab environment

  • Correlation analysis between bench measurements and Automated Test measurements

  • Electrical evaluation of semiconductor products

  • Thermal evaluation of semiconductor products

  • Write and run Python scripts that interface with lab equipment to automate data collection

  • Generate data plots and tables for datasheet generation

  • Test product on Automated Test Equipment in a production environment

  • Soldering as required for evaluation of products

  • Other as needed

Qualifications –

  • Pursuing BS in EE, ECE

  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl

  • Arduino experience a plus

  • Familiarity with basic electrical circuits required

  • Must be a results-oriented individual contributor committed to team success and willing to do the simple or complicated tasks required to move the project forward

  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently

  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills

  • Must be able to work effectively with all levels of personnel, including management, engineers, technicians, and temporary employees

  • Ability to use spreadsheets, word processor, databases, and email
