Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain ISO 9001:2000 Standard and its associated documents.
Lead direct reports in support of the plant initiatives as it relates to quality: testing, documentation, production floor interaction for correction, participation in CI and ISO events, etc.
Maintain the PFMEA data and ensure use as tied into the CAR process.
Coordinate with the Engineering and CI leads for a seamless operation where overlaps occur,
Take direction from the Director and Plant Manger to address identified quality gaps, or research root causes for correction.
Lead training process of all personnel as it relates to ISO procedures and Work Instructions,
Lead weekly review of production leaks thru use of Majik, and other applications in conjunction with other department leaders and elevate to leadership for resolution.
Provide management with quality performance reports; internal and external.
Establish a full proof quality control program to ensure nonconforming products are within established guideline, acting as the last line of defense for finished goods.
Represent the company as the primary POC for customer complaints beginning to end, and be responsible for the entire process of documentation, resolution, credit, closure, CAR's.
Responsible for calibration of all testing equipment, to include annual review for end-of-life items.
Expected to possess' knowledge of appropriate safety policies and enforce said policies.
Maintain awareness of shift events and the environment to recognize problems prior to affecting productivity.
Assist with basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
Emphasize and assist in creating a neat, safe, and clean work environment.
Perform any quality evaluations or customer complaint testing as required.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor of Science Degree, preferably with a focus in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Regulatory Affairs.
LSS Green Belt preferred.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
5+ Years of QA Operations experience within a manufacturing environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Normal office environment, warehouse / industrial environment
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods.
Must be able to tolerate heat in production environment when reviewing shop floor aspect of project.
TRAVEL:
20% travel may be necessary, as it relates to review of customer complaints that are not able to be resolved thru normal means. Most interface will be over MS Teams or a similar platform.
