We are seeking a Compensation and Benefits Analyst to work as an integral part of Optiv's Human Resources Total Rewards team. This individual will report to the VP of Human Resources and will provide support for a wide range of comp and benefits projects and programs.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Compensation
Performs a full scope of activities associated with the administration of compensation plans and programs
Completes small to medium size projects in areas such as annual incentive administration, annual merit review, rewards and recognition, communications and training, market survey analysis and Workday
Conducts job leveling, job analysis, job classification and evaluation
Conducts regular audits of compensation data to ensure accuracy such as audits of existing and proposed job classifications to obtain information regarding job responsibilities, activities, duties, content, FLSA exemption, and requirements
Partners with talent acquisition and human resources business partners on offer letter structure, job classification process and comp plan assignments
Acts as an active contributor to continuous process improvement for all comp processes, programs, and tools. Creates and updates relevant and effective knowledge database content and correct and accurate utilization of HR systems and tools
Administers job profile and bonus plan creation and maintenance within Workday
Develops and prepares reoccurring compensation reporting/analytics and provides support for ad-hoc reporting requests
Assists with the analysis, design, and administration of incentive compensation plans in partnership with the incentive compensation, finance, and leadership teams
Assists with reviewing and approving proposed salary and incentive compensation changes
Participates in acquisition integration and the harmonization of employee onboarding
Distributes annual total reward statements; communicates, educates, administers statements
Participates in the design and support of Workday compensation automation and administration.
Benefits
Performs monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance invoicing and reporting
Bi-weekly processing of integration load, calculations, catch-up deductions and audit pay results for payroll processing
Manages the funding and reconciliation of Fidelity retirement plan funding and reconciliation
Manages Wageworks FSA/HSA spending account funding and reconciliation
Captures benefits payments and third-party sick pay for leave participants
Provides assistance with open enrollment as needed
Other duties within the benefits and compensation departments, not specified here may be assigned as the business evolves
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant work experience
Minimum 3+ years of experience working in compensation and/or benefits with the analysis, design and/or administration of comp and benefits programs
Knowledge of Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and exemption testing
Workday experience preferred
Knowledge of Human Resources compensation and benefits principles and best practices
Proven financial and business acumen with the ability to successfully perform independent analysis and interpretation
Excellent Excel skills with high attention to detail
Exercise sound judgment and initiative when carrying out responsibilities
Excellent interpersonal, consulting, verbal and writing skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional judgment
