Advanced Hardware Engineer (Finance)



In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge hardware solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers, contributing to Honeywell's position as a global technology leader.

You will report directly to our Sr. Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ (Deer Valley) location on a Hybrid work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the design and development of advanced human-machine interface hardware for Avionics applications.
  • Drive execution of qualification and verification testing.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians, fostering their growth and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and integration of hardware solutions.

Your expertise will shape future technology and industry solutions. You will report directly to our Sr. Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ (Deer Valley) location on a Hybrid work schedule.YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • 6+ years of experience in electronic hardware design, development, and debug.
  • Strong knowledge of Qualification Testing for airborne hardware.
  • Experience with Honeywell's configuration management tools (e.g., Team Center).

  • Advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
  • Experience in leading complex hardware development projects.
  • Experience with electronic troubleshooting of printed board assemblies.
  • FPGA firmware development experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
