Community Based Therapist (CSS) (Personal Services)
Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is currently seeking a full-time Community Based Therapist to add to our team of professionals. This position will work out of our Community Support Services office located in Downtown Evansville.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Conduct assessment and treatment services.
- Perform diagnostic assessment evaluations and emergency/crisis intervention for adult populations.
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy to adults who have a severe and persistent mental illness or are dually diagnosed.
- Maintain appropriate records of services to reflect progress and document treatment plans and goals.
- Maintain documentation and submit reports according to established time frames.
- Communicate professionally, make referrals and coordinate services with community agencies.
- Meet efficiency standards which include chart management and client contact standards.
- Possess the ability to engage individuals who are in the early stages of their recovery.
- Demonstrate the ability to engage with individuals involved in the legal system by participating in assessments at the Vanderburgh County Corrections Facility.
WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?
- Applicants must have a Master's degree in Social Work, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC. MSW candidates not currently licensed must obtain a temp LSW within first 60 days of employment, pass the LSW exam within 3 months of hire, and the LCSW within six months of eligibility.
- Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
