Commercial Portfolio Manager (Finance)
Location: Any HomeTrust Commercial Loan Production office
The Commercial Portfolio Manager provides credit oversight assistance to Relationship Managers in the management of credit risk in assigned market(s) or regional commercial loan portfolio. This includes but is not limited to portfolio risk management support to ensure timely renewals, annual reviews, as well as assist in completion of action plans per the bank's policy.
This position will be tasked to partner with the Commercial Relationship Manager and Commercial Banking Associate to facilitate the gathering of financial statements and completion of covenant testing, if applicable as well as monitoring of the risk ratings within an RM's portfolio.
The Portfolio Manager is charged with the analysis and underwriting of renewals and annual reviews for complex credit facilities (CRE and C&I). This position will report to the VP/Senior Portfolio Manager and will have a strong working relationship with Credit Administration with regards to portfolio risk management, annual review and covenant tracking with credits generally greater than $500,000.00 (depending on complexity).
High level customer service support, recognition and advisory cross-selling efforts with the RM along with performing special projects are expected.
General Qualifications
Education: Four-year college degree from an accredited institution in a business-related field such as finance, accounting, business administration, or economics is preferred. Successful completion of a formalized credit training program (e.g. RMA, Omega) is preferred.
Experience: 5+ of experience in Loan Review, Credit Analysis, Commercial Relationship Management, or Commercial Loan Operations.
Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. Highly organized and has the ability to prioritize assignments to meet deadlines. Good presentation skills and analytical by nature with sound business judgement. Successful candidate is detail oriented and able to complete assigned tasks with a sense of urgency and high degree of accuracy. Candidate has the ability to identify and recommend potential cross-sell opportunities. Experience with Microsoft Windows Operating System, and satisfactory knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook is required. Additional knowledge with STAR Reports, S&P and Moody's Ratings is a plus. Familiarity with all federal and state banking regulations pertaining to lending and consumer compliance, including fair lending laws.

This position requires keeping complete confidentiality of all customer transactions and information and paying close attention to security within and around the bank's premises at all times.
